Farm Tour & Networking Event
We will be touring Terra Madre Farm & Agricultural Devolution, local farms that produce organic vegetables, mushrooms, microgreens, and more. They sell to the local Corpus Christi farmers markets and are members of Grow Local South Texas.
Agriculture Workshop
The Battleground to Breaking Ground Agriculture Workshop for Military Veterans is designed for Veterans with or without disabilities, their spouses, small scale producers, beginning farmers and ranchers, and those interested in starting an agriculture business.
This workshop provides education regarding:
- agriculture business ideas and start-up
- business plan development
- possibilities for farming/ranching with a disability
- financial funding sources for farming and ranching
- resources to support agricultural business operations
