What We Do

Following our mission to support the self-determination, community integration, and quality of life of people with disabilities and their families, the Center on Disability and Development:

1. Provides community services and training for individuals with disabilities and their families and those who support them.
2. Conducts research and evaluation to improve school services and outcomes and increase the quality of community living for people with disabilities.
3. Offers disability-related graduate studies through Texas A&M University.
4. Develops tools for better information dissemination to people with disabilities and their support systems.

Many of our activities are in cooperation with partners in Texas and across the nation.
