Free Disability in the Workplace Seminar for Brazos Valley Employers Set for May 24

BVEP SeminarCOLLEGE STATION, TEXAS – Brazos Valley employers are invited to a free seminar called "Disability in the Workplace" on Monday, May 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott in College Station.

Participants will learn innovative ways to recruit and retain employees from a hiring pool of people with disabilities. They will also receive a free catered lunch and resource packet. Priority RSVP is due by Friday, May 7. Those community members who are interested can register at http:// bvep.tamu.edu.

This event is hosted by the Brazos Valley Employment Project and sponsored by the Center on Disability and Development at Texas A&M University. Financial support for the Brazos Valley Employment Project is provided by the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities with federal funds made available by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration on Developmental Disabilities.
