Camp LIFE Accepting Applications for April 20-22 Weekend
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS –
The Family Support Network will hold Camp LIFE, a camp for children with
disabilities and their siblings, April 20-22 at Camp for All in Burton,
Texas. Applications, which are available at http://fsn.tamu.edu/camplife.htm,
will be accepted until capacity is reached. The application deadline has
been extended.
Camp LIFE has been created to promote an inclusive environment for all kids. We accept children with a variety of special needs including, but not limited to, autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, epilepsy, mental retardation, visual impairments, hearing impairments and spina bifida.
Children with disabilities between the ages of 5 and 18 and their siblings are eligible to attend Camp LIFE, which is held one weekend in the spring and fall from Friday at 5:30 pm to Sunday at 11 am. To keep the Camp affordable, fees are charged on a sliding scale based on combined family income.
